Zi-Yue Zhou 周子悦
Zi-yue earned her B.S. in Shanghai
Jiao Tong University. She majored in biotechnology. While in SJTU, she worked in Ilya A.
Vinnikov’s lab, studying knowledge of neurodegeneration and learning experimental techniques
in mice and C. elegans.
She was attracted by neuroscience at an early age, because she realized that mental health
could be a more and more serious problem in society. She joined He Lab in 2022 because of
her interest in sleep. Currently she is investigating changing transcriptome caused by sleep
disturbation.
Besides science, she enjoys beautiful songs and delicious food.
