Zhuo-Ran Jia 贾卓然
Zhuoran earned her B.S in School of
Pharmaceutical Sciences (Shenzhen), Sun Yat-sen University. She is majored in Pharmacology
and enjoyed spending time with mice.
She was interested in biological sciences from an early age, although she didn't know what
biology was at that time. So she joined the He Lab in 2021 and started her life of research.
Currently she is investigating effects of sleep on brain functions. Maybe she will do some
research on depression and cognitive impairment in the future.
She often wonders why she has so many hobbies including eating, singing, dancing, musicals
and so on. Hopefully one day, she could become a part-time writer or screenwriter.
